I am not an exerciser. I don’t get up in the morning, lace up my sneakers and go for a run, or even a walk for that matter. So why am I setting a fitness and wellness goal for myself?
I want to be fit and lose 40 pounds by my birthday 12/03. I will be 63. I am decidedly late to the fitness world. As a general rule, I am sedentary, very sedentary. In fact, I actively avoid sweating. But what if, for once in my life, I attained fitness? How would it feel to live in a fit body? What would it feel like to use food to fuel my body and to give my body the exercise it needs? I’m willing to give it a try.
